Kilimani Medical Camp 2023
RCLJ members contributed their time, ideas, resources, links to corporate partnerships and other support to make the camp a success. We had over 33 members and potential members attend and volunteer at the camp.
The Rotaract Club of Lavington Jioni worked hard to to support the camp and to mobilize members of the public to come in and access the services at the camp.
Services provided:
- Screening for High blood pressure & Diabetes
- On-site screening for Kidney and non communicable diseases
- Reproductive Health chat
- Nutritional Counseling
- Counseling for Substance abuse
- Registration of Persons with Disability
- HPV Vaccines
- Financial Welness
We had over 200 persons benefit from our camp yesterday and we saw clearly the need and appreciation from our community for free medical services.
In addition sponsorship for SHIF medical cover was awarded to 60 patients in need
